    • Our fire shutter is available in 3 options : 1 Hour, 2 Hour and 4 Hour integrity ratings.

    FIRE RETARDANT SHUTTERS - INDEPENDENTLY TESTED

    • All of our fire shutters have been rigorously tested and approved by Exova Warringtonfire. Exova Warringtonfire offers independent fire engineering, testing and certification services that are a globally-respected mark of quality assurance. The fire resistance performance of our shutters have been tested to the latest standard - BS EN 16034:2014 that came in to force 1stNovember 2019 This replaces the previous test certificate BS476: Part 22: 1987. Please note fire shutters previously tested to BS 476 part 22 are no longer certified as fire shutters

    FIRE SHUTTERS THAT WORK SAFE & FAST

    • The New Security Fire Flame Shutter is designed to automatically close during a fire alarm test but more importantly during an emergency situation.
    • In the event that a fire alarm is activated the shutter will descend to create a fire resistant barrier allowing for safe evacuation and protecting the premises from the further spread of fire.
    • In the event of a power failure the shutter will close using a separate battery backup.

    • The New SecurityFire Flame Curtain is strong enough to contain a fire for up to 2 hours, slowing down the spread of fire and smoke.
    • As the curtain is made of heavy duty fibre glass, means of escape can still be achieved, if necessary, by simply lifting up the bottom of the rail.
    • Flame Curtains have been rigorously tested by Exova Warringtonfire to BS476: Part 22 1987 and BSEN1634-1:2008 standard.
    • Exova Warringtonfire offers independent fire engineering, testing and certification services that are a globally-respected mark of quality assurance.During testing, the product is fitted on the furnace side replicating the most severe conditions of a fire. The temperature of the furnace is then increased to 1000°C at a rate defined by the product standards.

    New Security Fire Curtain : Unobtrusive In Design

    • The fire curtain is ideal for shopping centres, department stores, restaurants, hospitals and large open plan offices.
    • They offer greater protection on windows and doors and can contain a fire within a lift.
    • The New SecurityFire Flame Curtain is aesthetically pleasing as it only operates in the event of a fire. Unobtrusive in design, it is invisible when not in use but is automatically activated in the event of a fire alarm or power failure.

    Auto-Operation On All Fire Curtains

    • In the event of the fire alarm being activated the fire curtain will automatically be lowered within seconds.
    • The New SecurityFire Flame Curtain when lowered can divide up large open spaces to slow down the spread of fire, allowing a safe evacuation of the building.
