While there are apparent distinctions in usage based on the size and amount of protection necessary, there are many slat sizes and shapes that are available in steel or aluminium. However, it is not always clear why you would have the security shutters electrically controlled. The notion that electrically driven shutters are expensive is often untrue, since the price of tubular motors has fallen to levels comparable to those of a locking system, spring balance system, and handle for a manual shutter.
The Benefits of an Electric Shutter
Electric security shutters’ main benefit is ease, especially when they are installed outdoors or are challenging to access. The majority of the time, we discover that installing a few security shutters is necessary, one or two of which must be electrically controlled owing to their size. The other, smaller shutters were likewise made to work electrically for this purpose.
The installation of an electric roller shutter door has also a number of benefits. Unsprung barrels in our electric roller shutter installations reduce the number of moving parts in the door, reducing overall wear and tear. Less working parts mean a lower chance of malfunctions, expensive callouts, or pricey repairs in the future.
